About

Hi, I'm Michelle.

I'm a product designer AT FACEBOOK.

Since graduating from Stanford University's Product Design program, I’ve been working on expanding my universe dent, and am always searching for new opportunities to build on my existing skill set, which includes needfinding & ethnographic research, concept ideation, wireframes & storyboards, low-fidelity prototypes, graphic design, and video production.

As a curious and empathetic problem solver, I’ve always felt the nagging urge to understand how things work and, more importantly, deconstruct their points of failure. In the past, these “things” have included knots, annoying kitchen appliances, and refugee camps. I believe that design can be a powerful vehicle for social change, transforming the world through creative and socially responsible solutions. I am especially interested in applying the process of needfinding to the realm of international development.

When I'm not furiously doodling or ogling maps, I enjoy cooking, drinking sour beers, people watching, and making bad puns. I also sometimes like to lust after corgis in the dog park.
